At the top, you'll be rewarded with spectacular 360° views over Tamarin Bay, Flic-en-Flac, Black River, Le Morne Brabant, and the turquoise lagoon stretching along the west coast. Meet & Brief (10–15 min)
Meet your guide at the front parking area of London Supermarket for a warm welcome. Once all participants have arrived, follow your guide in your respective vehicles to the starting point of the hike, located a short distance away. Before setting off, your guide will provide a safety briefing, explain the route, and answer any questions about the adventure ahead.
Forest Ascent (45–60 min)
Begin with a steady uphill walk through native vegetation as you gradually climb the lower slopes of La Tourelle. Along the way, your guide will introduce you to the area's flora, surrounding landscapes, and the unique geography of Mauritius. We'll also make a few stops to admire the ever-expanding views and capture memorable photos.
Rocky Summit Ascent (20–30 min)
As you approach the summit, the trail becomes steeper and rockier. Your guide will lead the way at a comfortable pace, offering guidance where needed as you navigate the final section before reaching the top.
Summit & Panoramic Views (20–30 min)
Reach the summit of La Tourelle and enjoy spectacular 360° views over Tamarin Bay, Flic-en-Flac, Black River, Le Morne Brabant, and the turquoise lagoon stretching along Mauritius' west coast. Take time to soak in the scenery, capture memorable photos, and enjoy a well-deserved break before beginning the descent.
Guided Descent (45–60 min)
Descend via the same route at a comfortable pace, enjoying a different perspective of the surrounding landscapes as you make your way back to the trailhead.
Wrap-up (5 min)
Return to the meeting point for a short debrief before saying goodbye.
